For its meeting on 7 December 2019, the CoGREE steering group received an official request from the Committee for Catholic Education and Training CEEC (Comité Européen pour l’Einsegnement Catholique) to become a member of the Coordinating Group. The admission of CEEC was decided unanimously. Within the framework of CEEC, 29 Catholic education networks from 27 European countries cooperate. CEEC represents more than 35,000 schools and 8 million pupils. Secretary General Guy Selderslagh from the CEEC office in Brussels will be involved in the coordination group in the future. He had already been a guest in the June meeting 2019 to learn more about the work of CoGREE. More information on the new member organisation can be found at www.ceec.be.
