The chair of the EBB-AEDE association, Alfons Scholten, gave a statement on the evaluation and continuation of the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union. In that he asks for a better linking of different parts of the programme, e.g. that university students are encouraged to get involved with local schools of their placement. He also stresses the importance for teachers in training to experience Europe, for they especially are the ones how will pass on their knowledge and view about Europe to the next generation.
