IV news:
At the IV conference in Cieszyn, the idea was also born to collect practical examples and concepts for combating anti-Semitism in schools from the circle of member associations and befriended organisations and to publish these contributions together with the lectures by Prof. Danner and Prof. Schwendemann in a book. All schools are currently facing the challenge of confronting the various forms of anti-Semitism that have become virulent in the wake of the war in Israel. It can be helpful to hear about examples from other schools and learn from them. The Executive Board would like to take up this idea and – possibly with financial support from the Barbara Schadeberg Foundation – make such a publication possible. It will contact IV members and other European associations in a suitable form, but ideas and suggestions are already welcome!
